簡介
在高科院，工作綜合學習 (WIL) 一般而言指向結合專業學習及職場實際應用的教育活動；工作綜合學習一詞與工作實習可交替使用。
高科院透過在高等教育採用應用學習，培育準備好投入職場及與時並進 (Work Ready, Future Ready) 的畢業生，而我們也是首批推行應用學位課程的院校之一。高科院的學習課程透過工作實踐，把課程內容與真實生活結連，鼓勵學生將知識和理論與實際應用整合。
以實習模式進行的工作綜合學習，是一個發揮應用學位教育的優點及好處的重要學習模式。工作綜合學習為學生在課程學習期間提供一個系統性的工作經驗。透過工作綜合學習，學生可以把於校園本位學習中所學到的知識及技術應用到真實的職場，也可以轉而把他們於職場中的學習回饋到校園本位學習中。工作綜合學習也有助於學生的個人及專業發展，並透過學生把創新想法帶到職場，促進業界的發展。
工作綜合學習單元
高科院的每一個課程皆有至少一個工作綜合學習單元，學生必需完成其課程的工作綜合學習單元，以符合獲頒所就讀課程的學士的資格。
