Career Talks Organized by the School
Career Talks
Practitioner from a local small and medium accounting firm shared with our students the prospects of being a professional accountant, and the expectations from employers on accounting fresh graduates. This was followed by an update session on the latest Qualifying Programme structure by representatives from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Exchange Exposures
Visit to Technology Hub in Zhuhai
Students of the Professional Accounting programme joined a two-day tour and visited the technology hub in Zhuhai. The trip has not only broadened the students’ horizons towards the economic and technological developments in the Greater Bay Area but also inspired them to pursue their future careers in China.
Exchange with Coventry University students
A delegation of around 20 students from UK’s Coventry University visited our Chai Wan campus in April 2019. After a tour of our faculty’s state-of-the-art facilities, they were joined by students from our programme for discussion of issues on Brexit. A visit to the plant of one of the most famous local brands here in Hong Kong, Lee Kum Kee, was arranged in the afternoon.

*Under the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS), an annual subsidy up to HK$33,100 will be provided to Hong Kong students who have attained:
(a) “3322” in HKDSE when they are enrolled in eligible self-financing first-year-first-degree programmes; or
(b) relevant sub-degree qualifications when they are enrolled in eligible self-financing top-up degree programmes.
