The Registry is one of the key administrative units supporting the Institute’s mission in providing quality education. It is responsible for a wide array of academic support and administrative services, and has three functional teams:
Academic Affairs and Committee Support
This team provides a comprehensive range of academic support services to prospective students, students, staff members and other stakeholders, including student recruitment, student enrolment, module / programme registration, class / examination scheduling, student record services, administration of student surveys, processing of assessment results, issuance of academic transcripts / graduation statements / award certificates, and secretarial support to the Board of Governors, Institute Council, and other boards and committees. It also operates a Services Centre to provide students with convenient access to information, advice and services.
Human Resources and Administrative Support
This team is responsible for the formulation and administration of the Institute’s human resources policies and regulations. It provides one-stop services to staff members, including appointment, re-appointment, benefit administration, staff development and performance management. The team also oversees facilities management, cleaning and security services, and other central support services.
Information Technology Support Services
This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Institute’s administrative and academic support computer systems. It manages the Institute’s IT infrastructure and provides information technology, audio-visual and multimedia services and support to students and staff members.
