The SRM programme provided me a scholarship to join a one-semester ex-change to HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Netherlands. The exchange experience not only broadened my horizons in the field of sports management, especially applicable in Europe, but also cultivated my determination to pursue further study in the UK.

THEi SRM programme allowed me to pursue my goal of treating patients in need, by equipping me with knowledge and skills. As an athlete, the course has been beneficial where I was able to apply strength and conditioning principles as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation protocols. On top of that, making loads of friends!

I have learned many different coaching methods in the SRM programme, which have also provided me with a lot of practical training opportunities. My knowledge and skills learned from the programme have provided me with a strong pillar to further pursue my studies to become a well-rounded PE teacher.

The SRM programme not only provided me intensive knowledge in sport and recreation, and also broaden my horizon from a great variety of internships and work-integrated-learning activities. The four-year of SRM experiences really helped me to develop my career.

I joined an internship at SPI Prohealth Asia and provided therapy support services at several world-class events, including the Hong Kong Sevens and the Hong Kong Open Charity Cup. The internship allowed me to fully apply my knowledge and skills in real-life situations. After graduating, I joined the same company as a full-time sports therapist.

I have been involving in this degree programme from its initial accreditation to the implementation. The programme provides both theory knowledge and hands-on practical experience, which make it very unique from the others. In Hong Kong, we need more coaches with relevant degree training. Likewise, there has been huge demand in the recreation management area. The sports therapy specialization in this degree programme is the very first in Hong Kong. Sports Therapist will be able to provide on-field service to athletes for injury treatment and fitness training. I fully support this degree programme and foresee its positive impact to Hong Kong.

Earlier we have received scholarship awards and attended the “IDEA World Fitness Convention” in the United States.

Many famous fitness specialists were there sharing their experience and the most up-to-date industry trends. Through attending various workshops, we improved our coaching and therapy skills as well as knowledge of nutrition.
