Shuttle Bus

THEi students and staff may take student/staff coach (IVE Chai Wan Express) during term time, running from: 

Kowloon Tong Line

  • Kowloon Tong (7:50 a.m.) → IVE Chai Wan
  • IVE Chai Wan (5:40 p.m.) → Kowloon Tong
  • Students (@HKD9.50) / Staff (@HKD16.50)

Tsuen Wan Line

  • Tsuen Wan MTR (7:40 a.m.) → IVE Chai Wan
  • IVE Chai Wan (5:40 p.m.) → Tsuen Wan MTR

Services in semester break 

The Chai Wan campus shuttle bus services will be suspended from 20 December 2017 (Wednesday) to 12 January

2018 (Friday) and will be resumed on 15 January 2018 (Monday).

 

Shuttle bus service will only be provided on the school days of IVE(CW).

Learning Commons (Commencement on 26 Jan 2018)

The Learning Commons includes two floors, including the inside connected First Floor and Ground Floor, with a total area of more than 1500 M2. The Learning Commons is designed to provide a comfortable, flexible and IT-enhanced environment that promotes creativity, research and collaborative learning.

 

Facilities inside the Learning Commons include:

  • Comfortable and flexible learning space with large sofa, armchair, and coffee table;
  • Computers and mobile devices supported learning and collaboration, including All-in-One PCs and iMacs at tables; iPad, Tablet, slim notebook and MacBook Air for loan;
  • Group discussion area: three group study rooms, one project room. The areas are supported by interactive whiteboard, 32” Smart TV/LED display; 
  • An electronic classroom equipped with start-of-the-art software packages;  3D printing;  44" large size printer for maximum A0 size printing;
  • Scanning/printing/photocopying services by print quota and/or Octopus;
  • Automatic and self-check book loan and real-time book return system; 
  • A3 size laminator;
  • A small portable induction loop system unit for people with hearing impaired;
  • HD desktop video magnifier assist reading for visually impaired person;
  • PC set includes screen magnifying software, screen reader software, refreshable braille display and Foxit for visually impaired people;
  • Single desk frame (crank type) manual height adjustable desk for physical disability/wheelchair users.

 

How to get there - Public Transportation

From Hong Kong International Airport

  1. Walk to Airport Station, take Airport Express to Hong Kong Station, walk to Island Line (blue line) to Chai Wan Station. Get out of the station at Exit D and walk along Shing Tai Road for approximately 10 minutes. (Approximately 1 hour and 24 minutes)
  2. By Taxi. (Approximately 50.2 km, 49 minutes)

 

From Tsing Yi campus

  1. Walk to Mayfair Gardens by 88C minibus to Kwai Fong Station, follow Tsuen Wan Line (red line) to Admiralty Station, and change Island Line (blue line) to Chai Wan Station. Get out of the station at Exit D and walk along Shing Tai Road for approximately 10 minutes. (Approximately 1 hour and 26 minutes)
  2. By taxi. (Approximately 27.3 km, 34 minutes)  

 

From Heng Fa Chuen MTR station - Mini-bus No. 62

  • Departing from Heng Fa Chuen MTR station will pass the West entrance of the campus.
  • A stop will be added, subject to approval by the Transport Department.
