\nAlex was a veteran banking executive and had more than 25 years of working experience in the banking and financial industry in Hong Kong. He worked in AON Consulting Ltd., HSBC, Bank of East Asia, Fubon Bank, asset management and financial services companies. Alex took senior positions in financial and wealth management business, such as Head Of Product Sales, Head Of Business Development, HK Island Areas Sales Manager (in charge of all branches in HK island) and Responsible Officer in the bank. With his strong working experience, he also took a crucial role in several mergers and acquisitions in financial services companies. <\/p>\n

Alex got his honors degree in Business at Coventry University (UK) (1988 - 1991) and completed his MBA in Strategic Marketing at the University of Hull (UK) in 2002. Besides, he also got professional qualifications, such as Chartered Marketer (UK), Chartered Wealth Manager (USA), Certified Manager of Financial Advisors (CMFA) LIMRA (USA), International Registered Financial Practitioner (IRFP) Society of International Registered Financial Practitioners ( USA), \u4e2d\u83ef\u4eba\u6c11\u5171\u548c\u570b\u570b\u5bb6\u9ad8\u7d1a\u7406\u8ca1\u898f\u5283\u5e2b (ChFP)<\/p>\n

Since 2017, Alex has moved his banking and financial professional into the crypto business and completed his study at (MIT) Blockchain Technology \u2013 Business Innovation and Application in 2019. After that, he has been a consultant on crypto business projects, such as setting up a Bitcoin Cayman Fund, how to link with cryptocurrency to fiat currency, and Initial Coin Offering (ICO) projects. He is one of the keynote persons in the market and was interviewed by HKTVB and ATV with Bitcoin and Digital Asset Business; he is also regularly interviewed by Blockchain news and newspaper in HK. <\/p>\n

In June 2022, Alex joined Metopia Technology Company Ltd (www.metopia.cc) in Cyberport as a part-time consultant (Senior Project Director); Metopia is a leading layer 0 blockchain service provider that powers digital assets infrastructure. Alex's role is regularly offering a marketing strategy plan to the company to penetrate big companies in HK. <\/p>\n

Alex is one of the 40 foundation members of the Institute of Web 3.0 Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Government and our Chief Executive fully support the Institute of Web 3.0 Hong Kong. Quote from China Daily on April 11, 2023, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-Chiu said in his officiating guest speech during the launch ceremony that \"The development of Web 3.0 is at a crucial juncture, and Hong Kong must have the courage to become a trailblazer in this wave of innovation.\" <\/p>\n

Alex has been working with Metro Info Live Radio as a part-time host since 2021 from the program called \"Metaverse\", \"Metaverse and Education\", \"\u5b78\u7121\u6b62\u5883.\" The program provides a positive message to the public and the new generation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
