Dr. HO Chi-Ming graduated from City University of Hong Kong with BSc (Hons) - First-Class Honors in 1995, and received PhD degree under the supervision of Professor Tai-Chu Lau from the same University in 2000. He joined Professor Chi-Ming Che's group at The University of Hong Kong as Research Associate (2002-2004), Postdoctoral Fellow (2005-2007) and Research Assistant Professor (2007-2011). His research focused on the areas of nanotechnology in green catalysis and biological studies. His research on the topic of oxidation chemistry of silver nanoparticles was funded by Hong Kong Research Grants Council-General Research Fund in 2010. He was one of the co-investigators of \"A novel anti-HSNI avian influenza virus agent using silver nanoparticle\" funded by Guangdong-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fund. He has published 30 peer-viewed research papers. Especially, two research papers on silver nanoparticles have been cited over 1000 times in SciFinder. He also filed 1 patent on the catalytic reaction of ruthenium nanoparticles.<\/p>\n

After working in the academic area for a decade, Dr. HO decided to move on after receiving an offer from SGS, a leading global company in testing, verification and certification. He served various positions as Senior Manager in Corporate R&D department (China & Hong Kong region, 2011-2015) and filed 9 patents. Then, he was Head of Department in Cosmetics, Personal Cares & Household (HK, 2015-2020) and led the Department to win Team of Year 2017. Currently, he is Senior Operations Manager of Health & Nutrition (2021-present). He is HOKLAS approved signatory in chemical testing under the scope of Chinese Medicines.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
