Major Duties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and the Head of Department and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials.\u00a0 He\/She shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Department, supervise students\u2019 projects, and provide academic and administrative support services for the Public Relations and International Events Management programme, with English and\/or Putonghua as the Medium of Instruction (MOI).<\/p>

Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

The successful candidate should have a recognised Master\u2019s degree, preferably a Doctoral degree, in one or more of the following fields: International Events Management, Marketing Research, Customer Relationship Management, Public Relations, Communication, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and\/or experience in professional practice in relevant fields.\u00a0 He\/She should have experience in supervising students\u2019 Final Year Projects (FYPs).<\/p>

The candidate should be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communicational skills, and a high level of proficiency in English and Putonghua.\u00a0 He\/She must also fulfil one of the following criteria:<\/p>

(a) Mother tongue\/language is Putonghua; or
(b) Received a recognised Bachelor\u2019s degree or above of which the MOI was Putonghua; or
(c) At least 3 years\u2019 working experience in Chinese Mainland or other Putonghua speaking countries or regions; or
(d) Attained one of the following qualifications:
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 i. Grade B, Level 2 or above in the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) \u2013 Putonghua Proficiency Test administered by the State Language Commission; or
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 ii. Level 3 or above in the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (Putonghua) administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) or equivalent.<\/p>

Notes:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

(1) The MOI of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Public Relations and International Events Management programme is English and\/or Putonghua.<\/em>
(2) The post is at the rank of Teaching Fellow I\/II.<\/em>
(3) Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Lecturer.<\/em>
(4) Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide evidence demonstrating their proficiency in formal written in English and Chinese, and to deliver a teaching demonstration in both English and Putonghua.<\/em>
(5) The candidate may be appointed on a short-term \/ part-time basis.<\/em>
(6) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.<\/em>
(7) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.<\/em>
(8) The appointee will mainly work at the Chai Wan Campus.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
