{"id":79267,"date":"2026-09-11T10:59:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T02:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thei.edu.hk\/?p=79267"},"modified":"2026-09-11T10:59:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T02:59:07","slug":"part-time-senior-research-assistant-occupational-therapy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thei.edu.hk\/sc\/part-time-senior-research-assistant-occupational-therapy\/","title":{"rendered":"Part-time Senior Research Assistant (Occupational Therapy)"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"79267\" class=\"elementor elementor-79267\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-558ebb0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"558ebb0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b56a4f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b56a4f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"translation-block\"><p><strong>Ref No.: DDIT\/PT_SRA\/09\/26<\/strong><\/p><p><strong><u>Major Duties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in a variety of research and clinical duties, including but not limited to:<\/p><ul><li>Conducting comprehensive clinical rehabilitation duties, including patient assessments, design evidence-based interventions, and reviewing medical histories of research participants;<\/li><li>Assessing, monitoring, and overseeing occupational therapy, daily living skills, and cognitive training programs for research participants and clients;<\/li><li>Assisting in research-related tasks such as literature reviews, data collection, and data analysis; and<\/li><li>Providing training and advisory support to staff and stakeholders regarding dementia care and occupational therapy through workshops or courses.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><u>Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>Applicants should possess a recognised Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline; or a recognised Master\u2019s degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience. They should be a Registered Occupational Therapist in Hong Kong, or eligible for professional registration.<\/p><p>They should also:<\/p><ul><li>Have proven experience in clinical rehabilitation, preferably working with older adults and individuals with dementia.<\/li><li>Possess knowledge of clinical assessment tools and the ability to design personalised intervention plans.<\/li><li>Have experience or a strong interest in integrating technology into therapy, such as using digital cognitive training tools, robotics, or assistive devices.<\/li><li>Be proficient in data management and qualitative analysis.<\/li><li>Have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua); fluency in Putonghua will be a distinct advantage.<\/li><li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for teaching and advising staff.<\/li><li>Be a fast learner, able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility, and attention to detail in both clinical and research documentation.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><u>Notes:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>(1)The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, including outside Hong Kong, and to work irregular hours, and weekends, as necessary.<br \/>(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee\u2019s qualifications and experience.<br \/>(3) The
