1. Properties of skeletal soils and sands, and organic amendments before planting;

2. Differential soil processes and growth problems associated with the two substrates; and

3. Mitigation of growth problems with special emphasis on infertility,  impeded drainage, compaction, shallow-rootedness and acidity.
