qualifications refer to academic qualifications obtained in secondary or tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong and Mainland China, International Baccalaureate\u00a0<strong>(IB)<\/strong>\u00a0or other overseas qualifications<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Applicants holding post-secondary or equivalent qualifications, such as Higher Diploma,\u00a0in a relevant area of study\u00a0may apply for Year-2 or Year-3 entry to Degree programmes.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Applications with non-local qualifications, including language qualifications, will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p>\u5099\u8a3b:<\/p><ol><li>Study duration of Degree Programmes:\u00a0Year 1 Entry: normally 4 years; Year 2 Entry: normally 3 years; Year 3\u00a0Entry:\u00a0normally\u00a02 years<\/li><li>Offering of study place is subject to the applicants&#8217; academic qualifications, interview \/ test performance (if applicable), other learning experience and achievements, and availability of study places.<\/li><li>Some programmes may have other specific requirements. Please refer to the\u00a0programme details and specific requirements\u00a0of individual programmes.<\/li><li>Applicants who choose Design-related programmes and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Multimedia Technology and Innovation programme\u00a0are required to submit copies of their work portfolio for assessment by the departments concerned. The criteria for the work portfolio are as below:<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Should include projects that show the creative potential and design competency of candidate<\/li><li>Should demonstrate visualisation skills<\/li><li>Should show personal interest as well as cultural awareness<\/li><li>Required to supplement with a concept illustration\u00a0\u00a0with no more than 100 words\u00a0\u00a0on portfolio creation<\/li><li>In PDF format<\/li><li>File size no larger than 5MB<\/li><li>Images are clear and in high resolution<\/li><li>No limit on the completion time and form of production<\/li><li>Zip into a single folder if there are multiple files and name the file by the application\u00a0number<\/li><li>Email the portfolio by the registered email address in the Web-based Admission System to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:thei-nls@thei.edu.hk\">thei-nls@thei.edu.hk<\/a><\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"5\"><li>Applicants can apply with the results of the same public examination in different years of award.
