In the 2024 round of funding exercise for the Research Grant Council\u2019s (RGC) Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector, THEi successfully obtained 5 Faculty Development Scheme (FDS) awards, amounting to a total of HK$4.85M.\u00a0 There were no applications submitted for Inter-Institutional Development Scheme (IIDS) and Institutional Development Scheme Collaborative Research Grant (IDS CRG) in this round.<\/p>

According to the RGC, there were 356 FDS applications from the local self-financing degree sector this year.\u00a0 \u4ee5\u4e0a<\/strong> sector-wide application<\/strong> success rates of FDS was 27%, whereas those of THEi was 50%<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is very encouraging, great work!<\/p>
