Major Duties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

(a) To enrich students\u2019 campus life and physical well-being, and promote a diverse and inclusive campus culture;
(b) To actively identify suitable collaborations with universities and institutions by entering into memoranda of understanding to expand student exchange opportunities;
(c) To promote, coordinate and provide services and support for student exchanges (inbound and outbound), study tours, international events, competitions, and other related activities;
(d) To administer internal and external funding schemes, and lead the administration and support of selection panels in vetting and selecting proposals submitted by academic departments for student exchange activities;
(e) To plan, lead, organise, and coordinate various student activities, including but not limited to institute-wide and academic programme events, student forums, sports activities and competitions, and physical wellness activities;
(f) To work closely with different administrative units, academic departments, and local and overseas partners to develop, promote, and enhance student exchange opportunities;
(g) To undertake duty visit to the Chinese Mainland and overseas destinations as required;
(h) To compile reports, prepare statistics and presentation materials for various meetings and events; and
(i) To supervise a team of administrative staff of the Office.<\/p>

Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

The successful candidate should have:<\/p>

(a) a recognised degree or higher qualification;
(b) proven leadership with at least 5 years\u2019 post-qualification experience, preferably in educational institutions or youth work;
(c) sound knowledge and rich experience in student development and coordination of student programmes\/events\/exchanges\/activities;
(d) experience in leading large-scale events, sports competitions, and\/or physical wellness programmes will be an advantage;
(e) a high of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as fluency in Putonghua; and
(f) strong interpersonal, planning, teamworking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<\/p>

Notes:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

(1) The post is at the rank of \u201cSenior Officer\u201d.<\/em>
(2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend and pass a written test in both Chinese and English.<\/em>
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts and weekends, as necessary.<\/em>
(4) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee\u2019s qualifications and experience.<\/em>
