Student Sharing

“Chinese medicines, as a Chinese cultural heritage passed on for millennia, recorded the wisdom of our ancestors. That’s the reason I applied for the THEi CMP Programme. After 2 months of studying, I have learned a lot of traditional Chinese philosophies and botanical knowledge. I am looking forward to my career after study.

As a member of the organizing committee of the Chinese Medicine Pharmacy Society this year, I hope to cultivate independent and critical thinking through activity planning.”

“This programme provides me learning opportunities that cannot be found in lectures and textbooks. I love going to field studies with lecturers and botany experts who help me to understand the characteristics and medical use of different plants. The wide range of learning activities allows me to gain practical experience and acquire problem-solving skills.”

“Fortune favors the bold. I made a decision to pursue a professional career in the field of Chinese medicines instead of Western medicines. A strong interest in Chinese medicines is my biggest motivation. Botany authentication, for example, is an important skill I learnt that is useful for my career development and allows me to serve the community.

This course provides a professional knowledge not only through lecture classes but also from field studies.  I expect to join more field studies in the coming years!”
