Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in teaching and related learning activities, support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Department, and undertake academic and administrative support services.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Landscape Management, Turf Management, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Plant Science, Geography or relevant disciplines, with at least 4 years’ of teaching experience at the tertiary level or relevant working experience.
The candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates with membership of professional institutions such as the International Society of Arboriculture. Proven records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage.
備註:
(1) Applicants without a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification will be considered for the post of Part-time Instructor.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
