TITLE :

Officer

Department of Food and Health Sciences & Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering

Major Duties:

(a) To provide support to the Programme Teams, including but not limited to the following areas:
      (i) Programme administration, student admission, administrative, and support services;
      (ii) Human resources services;
      (iii) Work-integrated learning activities for students;
      (iv) Resource coordination; and
      (v) The establishment and administration of scholarship schemes, including the selection of awardees and scholarship disbursement.
(b) To supervise and coordinate the work of supporting staff to ensure the effective delivery of services;
(c) To assist in the formulation, implementation and review of quality assurance and operational policies, systems, and procedures for continuous improvement;
(d) To undertake committee work for various meetings, committees and boards; and
(e) To provide executive and secretarial support for projects, functions and events.

Requirements:

(a) A recognised degree or equivalent qualification;
(b) At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at an executive level, preferably in educational institutions or comparable organisations;
(c) Good communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills;
(d) A proactive approach and the ability to work independently; and
(e) A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:

(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, including outside of Hong Kong, and to work irregular hours, shifts, and weekends, as necessary.
(4) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(5) The appointee will mainly work at the Chai Wan Campus.
