TITLE :

Assistant Systems Manager

Information Technology Office

Major Duties:

(a) To assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects;
(b) To participate in system design, development, testing, and deployment activities;
(c) To manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, reporting, and coordination with vendors;
(d) To collaborate with various departments and offices to gather user requirements and to develop and deliver effective system solutions;
(e) To conduct market research and evaluate new technologies to support digital transformation and innovation;
(f) To organise and conduct training sessions for newly implemented or enhanced systems;
(g) To work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of IT solutions with business objectives; and
(h) To provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff members.

Requirements:

(a) A recognised degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional qualifications;
(b) At least 2 years of relevant work experience in software/systems development, systems analysis, and/or IT project management;
(c) Hands-on experience in the implementation and support of Student Admission Systems and Student Information Systems is highly preferred;
(d) Proficiency in modern programming frameworks, RPA tools, and front-end technologies;
(e) Experience in evaluating, integrating, or supporting AI-powered solutions for business process improvement or digital transformation would be an advantage;
(f) Experience with Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD practices;
(g) Full-stack development experience is considered a distinct advantage;
(h) Knowledge of IT networking, cloud platforms, and Linux/Windows server administration, along with cybersecurity implementation for systems development, will be an advantage;
(i) A strong passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning;
(j) A team-oriented individual with a proactive and innovative mindset;
(k) Strong communication, teamwork, organisational, and administrative skills; and
(l) A good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

備註:

(1) The post is at the rank of “Officer”.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, including outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
