Major Duties:
This position is supported by an approved and funded cross-disciplinary research project led by the Principal Investigator (PI). The project examines employee well-being, work-related competencies, and sustainable dining practices within an institutional dining environment.
The appointee will assist the PI in a variety of research duties, including but not limited to proposal writing, literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, and report writing with text and graphics.
Requirements:
Applicants should:
(a) Possess a recognised Doctoral degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Social Science, Business Management, Marketing, Psychology or a related discipline, with relevant research experience;
(b) Be well-versed in the use of analytical software, including but not limited to SmartPLS, SPSS, and NVivo;
(c) Be familiar with statistical analysis techniques, including but not limited to structural equation modelling (SEM), factor analysis, path analysis, mediation analysis, and regression analysis;
(d) Have experience in publishing academic journal articles;
(e) Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with a good command of both English and Chinese; and
(f) Be a fast learner and able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
