TITLE :

Part-time Lecturer (Global Logistics Technology)

Department of Design and Architecture

Major Duties:

The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and Head of Department and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching &learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities, supervise students’ projects, and undertake academic and administrative support services for the Global Logistics Technology programmes.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Logistics Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline; with at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or professional experience in related fields. He/she should also have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. Linkage with industry or professional bodies and experience in programme and curriculum development would be an advantage.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus and/or nearby teaching premises.
