TITLE :

Part-time Research Assistant I

Major Duties:

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in a variety of research duties, including but not limited to literature review, data collection, data analysis, and report writing (including text and graphics).


Requirements:

Applicants should possess a recognised Master’s degree in Design, Social Science, Fashion and Textiles, International Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Computer Science (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence), or related disciplines; or a recognised degree in a relevant discipline with relevant work experience.

They should also:

  • have experience in using research software, including but not limited to SPSS, EViews and EndNote;
  • have knowledge of business, management, marketing, textile and clothing, and supply chain-related theories;
  • have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage; and
  • be a fast learner, able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility, and be detail-oriented.  


Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and to work on Saturdays and Sundays, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan campus.
