Prof Mark MAK is an expert in the fields of 5G bionic robots and artificial intelligence applications, as well as a researcher in human-machine fybrid intelligence. He has worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and NASA's Ames Research Center, independently conducting several technology research projects related to national security. His work includes disruptive interference radar, stealth aircraft systems, drone positioning algorithms, and low-energy liquid crystal light-focusing laser cutting technology, all of which have been adopted by U.S. Government agencies.

In 2019, he led a team to collaborate with mulitiple communication research institutions to successfully develop China's first 5G bionic robot. This robot served as a "goodwill ambassador" for the country, showcasing its "Belt and Road" countries. Due to his contributions, Prof MAK has been honored as the "Father of the 5G Bionic Robot", "Hong Kong's Iron Hero", and "Pioneer of 5G Bionic Robtics".
