Major Duties:
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in a variety of research duties including but not limited to literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, and report writing (including text and graphics).
Requirements:
For the post of Term Research Assistant I, applicants should possess a recognised Master degree in Landscape Architecture, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; or a recognised degree in a relevant discipline with relevant work experience.
For the post of Term Research Assistant II, applicants should possess a recognised sub-degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent level of study.
They should also:
- have experience in using graphics software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling software;
- have knowledge of GIS, and preferably experience in relevant research projects in mapping, ecological studies, or NbS applications;
- have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua), with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
- be a fast learner, able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility, and be detail-oriented.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and to work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
