TITLE :

Term Research Assistant I/II (Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy)

Major Duties:

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting research projects in Chinese medicine.  Key responsibilities include contributing innovative ideas and scientific insights, performing high-quality research and analytical work, and collaborating effectively with industry partners.  The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with local and international stakeholders.  The appointee will also be responsible for data collection and analysis, preparation of research reports and publications, and may be required to perform duties outside Hong Kong.

Requirements:

For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Chinese Medicine or a related discipline; or a recognised Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience.

For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Chinese Medicine or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants with work experience in the relevant fields are preferred.  Applicants should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, including outside Hong Kong, and to work irregular hours, shifts and weekends, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will mainly work at the Chai Wan Campus.
