Major Duties:
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting literature reviews, developing novel compounds through chemical synthesis, and performing the tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Nutrition, Organic and/or Inorganic Chemistry or a related discipline; or a recognised Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience.
For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree (Associate Degree / Higher Diploma) in Nutrition, Healthcare, Health Studies, Applied Biology or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants with work experience in Organic and/or Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry are preferred. Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Notes:
(1) The candidate(s) may be appointed on a part-time basis.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and to work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee(s) will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
