TITLE :

Term Research Assistant I/II (Nutrition and Healthcare Management) (Ref.: O/THEi-DFHS/TERM_RAI_II(NHM)/01/26)

Department of Food and Health Sciences

Major Duties:

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting literature reviews, developing novel compounds through chemical synthesis, and performing the tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Nutrition, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry or a related discipline; or a recognised degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience.

For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Nutrition, Healthcare, Health Studies, Applied Biology or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of study.

Applicants with work experience in organic/inorganic chemistry, and analytical chemistry are preferred.  He/she should have a good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
