Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in the design and delivery of a series of high-quality Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) talks, seminars, lectures, achievement exhibitions, and related learning activities to facilitate knowledge transfer and promote public awareness of TCM. He/She will also provide professional input and subject-matter expertise, and undertake editorial, proofreading, and publication-related work for booklets and other educational resources.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy or related disciplines; with at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or relevant professional practice. Proven experience in book publishing, editing or publication-related work is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate good professional standing, well-established industry networks, and a track record of professional achievements.
Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua and Cantonese. He/She should also possess good administrative, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility, good initiative, and the ability to work independently
Notes:
(1) The post is at the rank of Part-time Lecturer.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, including outside Hong Kong, and to work irregular hours, and weekends, as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will mainly work at the Chai Wan Campus and / or nearby teaching premises.
