Two teams of year 1 students from the Multimedia Technology and Innovation (MTI) Programme joined the “Your Choice Short Film Competition 2018” and their works were nominated for the Best Short Film Award and the Best Screenplay Award respectively. The team of MAK Tsz Wing, LIN Chun Kit, LEUNG Yiu Chun, LEUNG Yuen Yam and CHAU Yuk Kin won the Best Screenplay Award in the Tertiary Institute and Open Division (大專及公開組最佳編劇) for their production, 《分毒揚鑣》.

Organized by Hong Kong Association of Youth Development and Beat Drugs Fund, the Your Choice Short Film Competition aims at encouraging teenagers to support the community-wide anti-drug programmes by producing a 3-minute short film. The awarded short films will be distributed in public channel for promoting anti-drug. The award presentation ceremony was held on 22 April 2018.
