Faculty of Design, THEi has been invited as one of the co-organisers of 37th RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards, which is one of the significant Canton-pop music awards in Hong Kong for almost four decades.

A group of THEi Advertising Year-3 students, Cha Nga Pui, Cheung Ching Yi, Li Yuk Cheung and Yip Ka Wai, have helped to define the overall strategy for this event since November 2014. Students had a great opportunity to present the idea and social media plan to client, create the copies and visuals of the feed contents and manage the promotion execution. The chance of backstage visiting further enriched their knowledge on event production.

The project provided a valuable platform for the students to demonstrate their creativity and sensitivity to the trend of social media. The promotion attracted over 1,300 likes on Facebook and 500 followers on Instagram within two months.
