The VPET International Conference 2020 was successfully held at THEi (CW) Exhibition Hall on 15th May 2020 with THEi Learning Commons also used as a live audience venue. We are very pleased to have Mr Tony TAI, Council Chairman, Prof Eric YIM, Deputy Council Chairman, Dr Daniel YIP, Deputy Chairman, ED and DEDs and other colleagues on campus to attend the conference in person. The conference received around 6,000 registrations and recorded over 10,000 views from some 50 countries during the online conference.

The International STEM Students Forum 2020 was held at THEi Hall on Saturday, 16th May and attracted some 3,000 registrants, with 6,000 on-line views across 10 countries including, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the UK. There were 14 student projects showcasing collaborations with 11 partner institutions from 7 countries. THEi was represented by Faculty of Science and Technology students who participated in panel sessions and presented project outcomes. Food Science and Safety students partnered with peers from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). Their work is showcased in the Project Based Learning section of this issue.
