THEi adopts a “fitness for purpose” approach to quality assurance and is committed to providing high quality vocational and professional education, as well as impactful applied research through strong industry collaboration and global outreach. As a member institution of the VTC with its degree programmes awarded by the parent organisation, THEi operates with a high degree of autonomy and academic independence. VTC takes a role in overseeing THEi’s quality assurance system. A robust quality assurance system has been in place to ensure quality in the learning programmes and professional services we offer, fostering and promoting a quality culture in the Institute. In addition, we proactively seek external accreditation from the statutory body, the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), which engages local and overseas specialists to conduct rigorous peer review on the quality of our learning programmes. We also seek recognition from local and international professional bodies to demonstrate that our programmes meet the industry standards.
