With effect from 1 January 2024, this new organisational structure has been used, the three existing Faculties (Faculty of Design and Environment, Faculty of Management and Hospitality and Faculty of Science and Technology) have been replaced by six Academic Departments.  The programme code of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme will be updated from DS145110 (Full-time) to ST145208 (Full-time).

3 The foundational science parts of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy programme are taught in English, while the core parts in traditional Chinese medicine are taught in Cantonese (with explanations in Mandarin).  Some general core and elective modules may be taught in English or entirely in English.  This new degree programme for Year-2 Admission for Academic Year 2024/25 is under accreditation.  Latest programme curriculum and relevant information will be updated on the THEi website (http://www.thei.edu.hk).  THEi reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering campus(es)/class venue(s) before class commencement if circumstances so warrant.  Details will be announced on the THEi website.

 

General Entrance Requirements 

  • Sub-Degree qualifications in basic science.

 

Remarks:

  • Additional core modules may be required (with fee charged) for sub-degree graduates according to the educational background of individuals.
  • All applicants are screened and selected by an Admission and Interview Panel.  All interviews are conducted in regard to the medium of instruction of the programme.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees are charged according to the number of credit points taken during a semester and subject to annual review. The tuition fees for the AY2024/25 are HK$3,235 per credit point for ST145208 and HK$3,505 per credit point for ST125204. Additional core module(s) may be required prior to commencement or during Year-3 study. Additional tuition fees will be charged according to the number of credit points taken, if any.

Depending on the requirements of individual programmes, students may be required to attend additional training and industrial attachments, for which separate fees will be charged.

 

Finance Assistance

Students may apply for the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and the Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) administered by the HKSAR Government’s Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA). Eligibility of individual students for specific schemes is subject to the WFSFAA’s assessment and confirmation.
