The Aircraft Engineering degree programme is vocationally-oriented and features both theoretical and practical trainings.
Because of our strategic location in the heart of Asia, Hong Kong is one of the busiest aviation hubs in the world (Hong Kong Airport is the world’s third busiest for international passenger and first for cargo). The Aircraft Engineering degree programme offered by the Faculty of Science and Technology of THEi is vocationally-oriented and features both theoretical and practical trainings which meet the genuine needs of the industry. The programme is recognized by HKCAD as a HKAR-66 Cat. B1.1 Basic Licence Training Course. Graduates from this programme will be professionally competent in the industry.

The graduates from THEi’s BEng-BSE are work-ready.
The programme produces high-calibre building services engineers with passion and dedication to tackle challenges for the smart and sustainable development of Hong Kong. The curriculum design of the programme has a strong vocationally-oriented basis. The graduates are well equipped with both essential academic knowledge and practical engineering skills, including the BIM application. Without extra supervision, their self-initiative graduates can work independently and as a team member. In short, the graduates from THEi’s BEng-BSE are work-ready.
