Steered by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and organized by Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF), the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021: Digital Entertainment Award seeks to recognise and honour the best works produced by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Industry and to promote excellence in this field.

The Awards includes three Award Streams: Animation & Visual Effects, Entertainment & eSports Software and Interaction Design*.

*Art Tech project is newly added in this edition, including projects or products integrating technology and art / creative industries. In 2020 Policy Address of Chief Executive, the government will actively promote and support the development of Art Tech in Hong Kong.

Winners will be entitled to free participation in some large-scale ICT events (e.g. International ICT Expo) for marketing exposure.
