Abstract
Social innovation has become a buzz word these days, and yet the notion that only a select few in society inherit innovative ideas is still prevalent. In this guest lecture, Anthony Pang from The Dots Company will offer insights on how important it is for an organization to take the lead in igniting creativity among its staff.
Biography
Antony Pang is the founder of The Dots Company, a consulting firm for ventures that marries the mind of business with the heart of humanity. Pang received training in Social Work, Marketing, and Criminology. He is a registered social worker in Hong Kong, a certified gambling counselor in Canada, and a narrative therapy practitioner in Australia. Pang has worked for NGOs for more than 15 years, focusing on children and youth services. His experiences in social welfare include pioneering the first Asset Based Approach project in Hong Kong. Pang started his social entrepreneurship in 2008 where he initiated BiciLine – Bicycle eco-tourism in Hong Kong under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals to create employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth in Tin Shui Wai. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Dialogue for Dark Hong Kong Limited, and launched the brand Dialogue Experience globally in 2014.
