As a pre-event of the Entrepreneurial Future Leaders Summit 2020 (www.thei.edu.hk/efls2020), this webinar talks about the Entrepreneurial Mindset in the workplace. Why it's important even if you are not going to start your business? How it will affect your career?
About the speaker - Mr Thomas Huang
Thomas Huang, a serial entrepreneur, was born in Cambodia and grew up in the USA / China. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics (US), Business Administration (France) and Political Science/International Relations (US), and a master's degree in Applied Economics (Hong Kong). During his master’s, he started FinTech and TravelTech startups which led him to being invited to attend and pitch at Entrepreneurship Programs in UC Berkeley and University of Chicago.
He has worked in international startups which have recently raised US$13 million and is currently helping launch an HRTech and Media startup in Hong Kong. Since going live in April, the startup has grown to 200+ companies hiring for hundreds of jobs and was even accepted to the Hong Kong Cyberport Incubation Programme.
Thomas also has experience in angel investment funds and currently assists in hosting, mentoring and judging pitching/startup competitions. He is super excited to work with inspiring young students. Recently, he has been selected to serve as a UNDP Bluetribe Accelerator Startup Advisor in Cambodia in addition to the Southeast Asian Advisor for a new venture investment group.
