The 25th Culinary Olympics, largest and most prestigious culinary event, was hosted every four years by The German Chefs’ Association. Participants from more than 35 countries took part in a wide range of categories, including national team, regional team, junior national team, community catering team and individual competitors in this year’s competition. Our final year CAM student, Emily Chan as one of the team members representing Hong Kong to compete in the junior culinary national team category from 14 to 19 February 2020 in Stuttgart, Germany. The Hong Kong junior team finally received a silver medal in the competition. The awarding of medals is based on points system and more than one gold medal can be awarded in the same category. The participant(s) with the highest mark(s) in each category is/are the winner and awarded as championship.
