We are so proud to announce that CAM Year 2 student CHAN Natalie Man Yee has been selected as one of the two culinary students in Hong Kong to have a fully-sponsored training at El Celler de Can Roca, Girona, Spain, for four months in 2017.

The three-star Michelin restaurant El Celler de Can Roca is awarded “The Best Restaurant in the World”. The head chef, Chef Roca, is known for his inventive take on traditional Spanish cuisine. He came to Hong Kong with his team for two weeks in August 2016 for his world tour. A total of ten local culinary students had been nominated by their respective institutes to work alongside Chef Roca in the event. Among them, only two were selected for the invaluable training opportunity at El Celler de Can Roca next year.

Natalie was nominated to represent THEi in the event. Having a positive attitude and strong passion to develop her professional expertise in the field of culinary arts, she stood out from the rest and won a place to Spain. Definitely, it will be a challenging yet rewarding experience to her. Congratulations!
