The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is hosting Info Day on 1 November and selected days in November and December to feature its advanced teaching facilities and degree programmes.
 
Some of these programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) for self-financing institutions, which begins in 2015/16.  The scheme provides generous subsidies to students, who can apply through JUPAS over the period 22 September – 2 December 2014.
 
The scheme will cover 13 programmes in areas that are important for Hong Kong and in urgent need of skilled manpower.  THEi has six of these and they are:
 
BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture
BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering
BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering and Management
BA (Hons) in Fashion Design
BA (Hons) in Product Design
BA (Hons) in Culinary Arts and Management
 
To provide current HKDSE students with information on these and other programmes and campus facilities, THEi will have Info Days on 1, 28 and 29 November 2014 and 12 and 13 December 2014.
