Specialisations:
The programme provides three different specialisations to students.
Sports Coaching Specialisation
Nurtures future sports coaches and sports scientists with the ability to enhance athletic performances with the most up-to-date knowledge of sports science and technology. Graduates could be coaches (including, Sports Coaches, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Fitness Coaches, etc) or Sports Scientists.
Sports Therapy Specialisation
Accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists (SST) from the United Kingdom. Students undertaking this specialisation are recognised as student members of the SST and are trained professionally on-field and clinically, with the ability to recognise, prevent and treat sports injuries for athletes.
Recreation Management Specialisation
Provides graduates with essential training in the core areas of recreation management, work-ready for both the commercial and public sector. Graduates could work at LCSD, multinational event or sports marketing companies.
Out-of-Class Learning
Programme works closely with industry practitioners and offer a wide-range of sports internship opportunities to students. Our students could learn and enhance their event management skills and other soft skillsets in interning at those large scale sports events.

Industry Endorsements
The SRM degree at THEi, is a forward thinking programme, which provides students with opportunities to practically apply theoretical concepts in real world settings. Sports Coaching students, help deliver our sports science testing, and strength and conditioning training. Sports Therapy students deliver injury prevention and rehabilitative programmes. Whereas, Sports Management students have helped conduct mock press conferences and media training. We are excited to continue growing and develop our mutually beneficial collaboration with SRM.

HKRU welcomed a number of THEi graduates to work closely with our professional staffs in both high performance and medical programmes. Ass students have been dedicated to achieving high standards while also providing practical and innovative result of the collaboration between the HKRU and THEi, a number of graduates have taken up paid positions within the HKRU.

- For the HKDSE “Physical Education (PE)” subject, the subject score with weighting x 2.0 will be used in the calculation of admission score. For details, please visit HERE.
