The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) held its first ever graduation ceremony on 9 December, conferring bachelor degrees on its first cohort of over 330 graduates. 
The graduates conferred with THEi degrees come from 6 programmes, namely Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Advertising, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Product Design, Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sports and Recreation Management, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Environmental Engineering and Management. Most of the graduates are about to enter the workforce to contribute to society, demonstrating the effectiveness of vocational and professional education and training (VPET). Many parents of the graduates, industry representatives and THEi staff attended the ceremony to share the happiness of the graduates.
