Mr MONGENDRE Christian G.is a trailblazer in sustainable restaurant development, with a deep commitment to health-focused, conscious living. A graduate of the prestigious Institut Paul Bocuse, where he earned a double major in Culinary Arts and International Hotel & Restaurant Management, he also serves as the institute’s Asia liaison.
His culinary journey includes working alongside Michelin three-star Chef Alain Ducasse, further refining his expertise in high-end gastronomy. Mr MONGENDRE’s philosophy centers on pure, energetic, and healing food—an ethos reflected in every aspect of his restaurants, from eco-conscious design to meticulously sourced ingredients.
As one of the leading voices in Hong Kong’s plant-based movement, Mr MONGENDRE has founded several acclaimed establishments including Mana! Fast Slow Food, Mana! Raw, Mana! Café, and HOME – Eat to Live. These fully plant-based restaurants, located in Central and Sheung Wan in Hong Kong embody his belief that food should nourish not only the body but also the heart.
Mr MONGENDRE is passionate about sharing his knowledge of vegetarian nutrition and its role in disease prevention, mental clarity, and vibrant living. His work continues to inspire a growing community of conscious eaters and sustainable thinkers across Asia and beyond.
