TITLE :

Part-time Executive Assistant II

Department of Sport and Recreation

Major Duties:

The appointee shall support the operation of the Integrated Digital Science Sports Management Centre (IDSSMC) and provide support to a project on “STEAM in PE and Play Design Competition”.  The appointee will also be responsible for the following duties:

(a) To provide support in the following areas:
(i) Data management;
(ii) General filing and personnel administration;
(iii) Online and face-to-face workshops;
(iv) Operation of the Digital Exercise Platform, i.e. STEAM in PE Platform; and
(v) Secretarial and administrative support.
(b) To support outreach marketing and promotional activities in local schools and the community;
(c) To assist in the delivery of digital fitness tests with STEAM and AI elements;
(d) To administer the schedule with internal and external parties;
(e) To oversee equipment maintenance and repair; and
(f) To draft official correspondence.

Requirements:

(a)   (i)  Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
*   Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^   “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua;
(d) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(e) Solid experience in assisting sports events or STEAM competitions, and coaching experience is highly preferred;
(f) Flexible, polite, detail-oriented, organised, and proactive; and
(g) Ability to multi-task independently and be a good team player.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and work irregular hours including Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
