任教授的研究和实践主要集中在接班规划、新世代学习与发展、家族企业领导、家族决策与治理及企业家创业。任教授目前在利物浦大学管理学院攻读工商管理博士学位。
任教授在新加坡的加拿大国际学校及马来西亚的枫叶金斯利国际学校担任独立非执行董事。他也是香港特别行政区民政事务总署(九龙城区)地区青年发展及公民教育委员会的委员之一,以促进他对教育和青少年发展的热情。
