TITLE :

Executive Assistant II

Department of Food and Health Sciences & Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering

Major Duties:

(a) To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Departments;
(b) To provide support in programme and student-related administration;
(c) To draft official correspondence, including emails, letters, notices, agendas, and minutes;
(d) To assist in document management and the compilation of management reports and statistics;
(e) To assist in organising / coordinating meetings and events; and
(f) To handle enquiries from internal and external parties, and provide counter services.

Requirements:

(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
Completion of the Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) High proficiency in using computer software applications, including MS Word,  Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) Flexible, polite, detail-oriented, organised and proactive; and
(e) Ability to multitask independently and to be a good team player.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.

(3) The appointee will work at the Tsing Yi Campus.
