TITLE :

Part-time Research Assistant I (Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management)

Employment Period:
9 months

Major Duties:
The appointee will report directly to the Principal Investigator (PI) and support research focused on the fabrication of an acoustic tree inspection system.  Responsibilities include collecting test data and establishing testing protocols to optimise functionality as directed by the PI.  Additionally, the appointee will assist in drafting research reports and publications.

Requirements:
Applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; or a recognised degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience; or equivalent.  They should have a good command of English. 

Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus and/or the Tsing Yi Campus.
