Dr ZHANG Hao, Allen

Dr. Allen Zhang studied in the Department of Biology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a PhD student. His PhD research project mainly focused on urban ecology in Hong Kong. Before joining the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, Dr. Allen Zhang was a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Geography, HKU. His research projects at HKU mainly focused on urban horticulture and urban forestry. He has published more than 20 articles in the refereed journals, a large portion of these articles have been published in the top tier international refereed journals such as “Urban Forestry and Urban Greening”, “Landscape and Urban Planning”, “Ecological Engineering”,  etc. 

 

Dr. Allen Zhang has obtained member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture UK, professional member of Arboricultural Association UK, and certified arborist of International Society of Arboriculture USA.
