Ir Prof CHOY Siu-chung Adam is the Managing Director of Meinhardt (C&S) Ltd. He is a Registered Structural Engineer (RSE) and Registered Inspector (RI) in Hong Kong and 1st Class RSE in China. He has over 37 years of Civil and Structural engineering design and construction experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure and building projects such as the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, MTRC Contract 501 Hong Kong Central and Tunnel, Central Government Office Development (Tamar), Hong Kong Children Hospital , Galaxy Cotai Resort (Macau) and Advanced Manufacturing Center, etc.
He also has structural experience in basement, auditorium, hospital construction as well as top down construction where he was heavily involved in projects with deep basement such as, ArchSD Cheung Shan Wan Government Office, MTRC Contract 501 and Hong Kong Science Park Phase 2 Development.“
He has been serving the Construction Industry for more than 30 years. He is also representing HKIE as Chairman of the current SERC Panel to conduct professional interviews for structural engineers for inclusion of names on registration list of Structural Engineers' Register under Building Ordinance. He has also served on various Committees and Advisory Panels established under the Buildings Ordinance and Institutions.
