THEi Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme successfully hosted the final seminar in the series “Smart City with Nature-Based Solutions – Exploring Urban Forestry and Landscape Ecology” on November 29, 2024. The seminar “The Future Pathways for Urban Greening in China” brought together experts from mainland China and Hong Kong to explore approaches for urban greening in China.

The seminar featured presentations from distinguished scholars and fostered a lively exchange of ideas. Panel discussions examined the intricate relationships between humans and nature, emphasising the need to integrate ecological principles into urban management and planning. This event highlighted THEi’s commitment to advancing sustainable development goals through collaborative interactions between academia and industry.
