HOFEX – Asia’s Leading Food & Hospitality Tradeshow, bringing the most comprehensive selection of Food & Drinks, Hospitality Equipment & Supplies products to Asia.  As one of the events at HOFEX 2023, the Hong Kong Professional Mixologist Challenge 2023 aimed to promote and support the professionalism of bartenders and the Art of Mixology, opening to all bartenders in hotels, bars, restaurants, clubs and institutions in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. This world-class platform offered a fantastic opportunity for contestants to showcase their skills with their expertly crafted cocktails.  Serving as supporting organisation, 6 students of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Hotel Operations Management programme were invited to serve on the Organizing Committee of the “Challenge” at HOFEX from 9 to 12 May 2023.  Students assisted from the setting up to dismantling of the event for 4 days, i.e., served beverages to guests and judges, cleaning of bar utensil, photo taking for the event, competition award presentation, and assisted the professional mixologists etc.
