Ms. Katherine Chan, Deputy Manager of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Department of Communication & Public Affairs, was invited by Miss Felicia Fan, Teaching Fellow of Public Relations and Management Programme, to give a talk on “How to Use Social Media to Do Corporate Marketing & Promotion” in Oct 2017.

Ms. Katherine Chan, Deputy Manager of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Department of Communication & Public Affairs, was invited by Miss Felicia Fan, Teaching Fellow of Public Relations and Management Programme, to give a talk on “How to Use Social Media to Do Corporate Marketing & Promotion” in Oct 2017.

To broaden PRM students’ horizon in contemporary topics relating to social media advertising and online public relations, Ms. Katherine Chan, Deputy Manager of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Department of Communication & Public Affairs, was invited to give a talk on “How to Use Social Media to Do Corporate Marketing & Promotion” at THEi, KT campus on 25 October, 2017.

 

Ms. Chan highlighted the importance of using social media (e.g. Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, LinkedIn, Twitter and so on) to enhance sustainable relationship with different stakeholders such as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), general public, etc.

 

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a Hong Kong statutory body established in 1966. It helps international businesses explore opportunities in and through Hong Kong, and promotes Hong Kong as Asia’s business platform and services hub. HKTDC has more than 40 offices globally, including 13 on the Chinese mainland.
